I have been trying to play the steam version and it was crashing to desktop as soon as I started the game. Tarasis: Glad to know I'm not the only one having this issue. Just Dishonored 2 got a few bugs, even after the patches. Wasted much of time to find this stepps :/ Wrote an Letter to the local Distributor-Support, too. I hope there is an way to start this game. Tryed with the Steam Version of Metro 2033 Redux and the GoG Version of Metro Last Light Redux. > unpluged my USB-Headset / tryed with an unpluged USB-Mouse too > Tryed to play another game First bevor starting Metro > Tryed an inoficial Fix (deinstalled the game after that)
> Replaced the legal.ogv (.\common\Metro 2033 Redux\2033) with an blanked one > Checked if the Anti-Virus Software restricted the. > Starting Parameter +windowed 1 (nativ Res failed too) > Closed the Asus-OC-Tool (Game doesnt like OC-Tools some users wrote) > Installed the attached DirectX an second time
Metro 2033 steam not full screen .exe#
exe with an compatility-mod for Win7 after that with Win8 > (Nvidia) Paste the physix.dll + physi圆4.dll from the driver-dic in the game-dic. > vcredist_圆4 repair + system restart (\_CommonRedist\) One is registered at Steam (i may by it here too, if i am able to fix it in time - missed the Gift-Event for Metro 2033 R x). Now i cant play any of the digital Redux Ones and get the same, short, black Screen. Finished it after release without problem (Win7 64 SP1, smaller GPU). Using Win10p 64 the system have no problems with Dishonored 2 or Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.Īfter i consumend the Metro 2033 Book i like to play the Redux-Version again. Great to see another one who fixed the problem so fast :)
